I’ve been creative all my life, an only child with an outsized imagination. I started with drawing, painting and music. In my youth I got into music and started playing in bands. I always had some kind of side business going on: clothing companies, sewing custom accessories, booking concerts and a record label. That all led me into graphic design and eventually photography.

I fell in love with the camera while photographing my friends snowboarding. I didn’t advance the film properly and exposed multiple images in one picture. When I saw that photo with boards and limbs superimposed over one another, and pointing in all directions, I was hooked! For years I mostly made Landscape and travel photos. I made a lot of nighttime images using the environmental light wherever I was.

I started shooting portraits and studio images in 2020 out of necessity since I was unable to travel and there are only like 5 neon signs in this town. I fell in love with portrait photography and have been focused on that since. I and love creating beautiful images that really capture a person. I also love taking images that aren’t necessarily perfect: multiple exposures, long exposures, shadows and reflections
